It is wonderful for my special needs son!! He is 8 but about the size of a 4 year old. It’s amazing how well the weight is distributed! He absolutely loves being able to “walk” around in the woods or in the yard. He always has to be in his chair otherwise. Thank you for this opportunity to be able to take our son off the beaten path!!

I am so thankful that there is an option for a child carrier with a higher weight limit. This has allowed me to travel longer distances with my daughter with Cerebral Palsy once her body needs a break. I truly do love the concept of the freeloader carrier and there isn't another option out there.

Really nice, well-made carrier. I thought this was just what we needed for us to become a little more adventurous with our 6 year old child with special needs. The carrier fit me quite comfortably and easily distributed the weight of my son well on my back and hips. The fold down seat is really ingenious and allows you to wear the carrier more like a backpack when you want your child to walk instead of ride.

We are so grateful for finding your company. Our three year old twins - one of which has Cerebral Palsy and has limited mobility - are becoming more adventurous by the day. The Freeloader has allowed our family to take longer hikes and spend more time exploring together. The pack is comfortable and the proof of it’s inclusivity is shown in our son’s wide eyes, exclamations of awe and “keep hiking mama!”

I can’t say enough good things about this product and company. The Freeloader allows us to hike as a family and enjoy the outdoors together, and there are no more limits to what we can do or where we can go. My nine year old with special needs loves it as much, if not more, than I do. I also had to exchange my first order for a different size and they were so helpful with the process. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this product, I can tell you it is definitely worth it!
